He was passionate about hockey since a young age and thus entered National Hockey League (NHL) by Florida Panthers at the age of 19. In the year 1995, he started his career as a professional hockey player. He excelled in his field and became the first All-Star goaltender in the history of Spokane chiefs and remained pro for 7 long years.
David was flourishing in his hockey career but dreamt of becoming a government service personnel. He was on his way to become a Lieutenant working around the FBI, DEA, or any other agency. He worked as a tour guide and joined different teams to appear in championships but eventually decided to quit.
